  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Chicken Tortelloni Alfredo is the ultimate comfort dish, featuring cheese-filled tortelloni tossed in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce with tender chicken. Perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy family dinner, this quick and easy recipe delivers restaurant-quality flavors in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cheese tortelloni (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast (sliced or shredded)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water (if needed to thin sauce)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Tortelloni – Boil a large pot of salted water, cook the tortelloni per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté Garlic – In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3️⃣ Make the Alfredo Sauce – Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
4️⃣ Season & Add Chicken – Add salt, pepper, and cooked chicken. Stir to coat everything in the sauce.
5️⃣ Combine with Tortelloni – Gently fold in the tortelloni, tossing to coat in the creamy Alfredo sauce. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
6️⃣ Serve & Garnish – Plate the dish, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm

Notes

  • Make it lighter – Swap heavy cream for half-and-half or a mix of milk and Greek yogurt.
  • Vegetarian option – Replace chicken with sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
  • Extra cheesy – Mix in shredded mozzarella for a cheesier Alfredo sauce.
  • Storage – Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
